The Technicolour Fence

Recently we were approached by a local school to make a fence. Pretty standard stuff, you’d think, although this particular fence was not only to keep the children safe and secure, but entertained at the same time. A set of educational games were to be fixed to the fence after completion.

After seeing the colourful nature of the game boards, we suggested that the fence should follow suit. The School then chose to paint the fence red. yellow, blue and green as a repeating pattern on for the palisades.

So we set to work preparing the timber for the fence back at the workshop, this included cutting to length and shaping the tops to the classic picket point. We then had to paint the different palisades, only the 50 of each colour!

Once this was all complete and dry, all that was left to do was construct the fence on site and then finally attach the games to the finished fence.
